DURAWELDING 2230 ist eine wechselstromverschweißbare Stabelektrode mit legiertem Kerndraht für Verbindung an schwer schweißbaren Grundmaterialien. Das abgesetzte Schweißgut ist austenitisch ferritisch (mit hohem Ferritanteil). Das Schweißgut bleibt auch nach hoher Aufmischung mit Austenitbildner wie Mn, Ni und C ferritisch, was ihm hohe Risssicherheit verleiht. Das Schweißgut ist von hoher Festigkeit, plastisch, stoßfest, zäh, säure- und hitzebestänig bis 1000°C. DURAWELDING 2230 hat einen ruhigen, intensiven Fluss, gute Schlackenentfernbarkeit und eine feinschuppige Naht. Die Legierung ist im Einsatz kaltverfestigend.
